CMA welcomed Consumer Protection entities

Casa de Moneda gave a presentation for members of various organizations with the aim of explaining and detailing the security features of the new $10,000 argentinian banknote, recently issued by the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic.

During the meeting, the General Manager of Production, Diego Oller, reviewed one by one the security features contained in the new banknote, with its various levels of protection. He highlighted the characteristics of the security thread, the watermark, the optically variable ink, the latent image, the microprinting, and the intaglio printing, among other internationally recognized graphic elements.

After the presentation, the guests from various Consumer Protection entities were able to ask questions, clarify doubts, and access essential information for the daily handling of the new banknote by the public.

Participants in the talk included members from ADECUA (Association for the Defense of Consumers and Users of Argentina), UNADEC (Argentine Union for Consumer Defense), CONSAL (Consumer Alert), Consumidores Libres, ACUDA (Association of Consumers and Users of Argentina), ACDH (Citizen Association for Human Rights), and the Consumer Defense Department of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires (GCBA); and from Casa de Moneda, the Executive General Manager, Eduardo de Montmollin; Cristian Mealla, Purchasing Manager; and Analía Istueta, Head of Foreign Purchases.
