In May 2023, the board of directors of Casa de Moneda approved the adherence to the "Sello Igualar" initiative of the Ministry of Women, Gender, and Diversity of the Nation, which aims to reduce gender gaps and structural segregations in the world of work from an intersectional and human rights perspective.

In May 2023, the board of directors of Casa de Moneda approved the adherence to the “Sello Igualar” initiative of the Ministry of Women, Gender, and Diversity of the Nation, which aims to reduce gender gaps and structural segregations in the world of work from an intersectional and human rights perspective.

The Board of Directors entrusted the Sustainability Coordination with the diagnostic phase of the initiative, as well as the subsequent stages to the Gender and Diversity Sector. In accordance with this directive, an organizational survey was conducted from a gender perspective, which involved reviewing human resources procedures, accessing gender-related indicators, analyzing internal regulations of CMA, reviewing the language used in official communications, among other activities. This allowed for the recognition of various actions and the identification of issues and potential procedural improvements in order to achieve equal development within the organization.

After submitting the organizational diagnosis, the Gender and Diversity Sector continued with the submission of the supporting documentation required by the ministry, which substantiates the findings obtained. Currently, CMA is awaiting feedback from the technical team of the “Sello Igualar” and the Action Plan that will enable joint work to be carried out.

It is essential to emphasize that our commitment to the “Sello Igualar” goes beyond mere adherence as a State-owned company. As a producer of digital solutions through the General Management of Digital Business, CMA has also developed a digital support tool for the nationwide implementation of this initiative. This tool is a business intelligence solution designed to alleviate manual workloads, minimize human error, and provide automated visualization of the score for the entered responses and static reports on the diagnostic process as a whole. This tool, in accordance with Casa de Moneda’s high security standards, will enable the Ministry of Women, Gender, and Diversity to manage a strategic information repository that will facilitate decision-making and the design of public policies.
