The update of the cigarette stamp marks a milestone in the coordinated work between the General Production Management and the General Management of Digital Business, along with the rest of the productive areas of CMA, following the most modern global trends, achieving a physical digital product with the highest standards of security and traceability.

The project aims to update the stamps to guarantee the authenticity and integrity of each unit, to have technological tools to ensure the identity of each labeled product, and thus fight against smuggling and counterfeiting with the objective of providing benefits to companies, consumers, and the state.

The presentation took place at the AFIP headquarters and was attended by representatives from Casa de Moneda and members of tobacco chambers and companies.
