In line with its Strategic Plan, and as a result of the quality audits carried out during the month of October 2022, Casa de Moneda achieved the following objectives in terms of quality standards:

• Maintain the certification of the Quality Management System under the ISO 9001:2015 Standard for the manufacture of Banknotes, Coins and Medals; and Passports.
• Certify the Quality Management System under ISO 9001:2015 Standard for the manufacture of License Plates and Single Vehicle ID.

These milestones have been achieved after arduous tasks of reviewing and adapting all the company’s procedures, and are the result of a strong commitment from the teams and managers of the different areas involved.

The Audit and Certification was carried out by BUREAU VERITAS, a prestigious Certification body, world leader in conformity assessment and certification.

The certification project in international quality standards is carried out by an internal certification team coordinated by the Strategic Planning Management, comprising a technical consultant specialized on Quality Systems, the Process Management Department and the Quality Management Department of Casa de Moneda.
