On Friday, November 3rd, the offset printing of $1000 San Martín banknotes began at Super Simultan IV, corresponding to the new printing line at Planta Retiro, as part of the initial homologation tests.

The setup of the Super Simultan IV represents the beginning of a new production stage at CMA and marks a milestone in the history of the company, as the last offset press for simultaneous banknote printing was incorporated into the company in the mid-60s.

Until the end of November, tests and training of Production and Quality Control personnel who will operate the machine will continue, assisted by representatives from K&B.

CMA continues to modernize all its work lines to consolidate monetary sovereignty and its position in the market.
