CMA
Digital and sustainable action.
Casa de Moneda, through its General Management of Digital Business, digitized 360,000 documents from the Incoming Mail Archive of the Argentine National Senate.
For this project, CMA provided the facilities, infrastructure, knowledge of its workers, and the necessary technological resources to offer a digitization service in line with the established objectives and the traceability and database system agreed upon with the organization.
Digitizing files is a process that goes beyond simply scanning documents. It involves stages designed and implemented from the removal of the documentary material to controlling the archive’s details by applying necessary adjustments, among other tasks. In other words, it required workers to have technical skills, meticulousness, and extreme care.
The process also included the destruction of some of the digitized records. The resulting waste was donated to the Recycling Program of the Garrahan Pediatric Hospital Foundation. This allowed for a traceable and sustainable process from start to finish.
