CMA participated in the United Nations Global Compact´s StateOwned Enterprises and Sustainability meeting.

Casa de Moneda was invited to participate in the State-Owned Enterprises and Sustainability meeting organized by the Argentine Network of the United Nations Global Compact.

Casa de Moneda was invited to participate in the State-Owned Enterprises and Sustainability meeting organized by the Argentine Network of the United Nations Global Compact. The meeting, which included over 20 Argentine companies, either state-owned or with significant state participation, was held with the goal of sharing best practices in sustainability.

The meeting focused on the progress made in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda within the companies and how it is possible to diversify the impacts on the outstanding Sustainable Development Goals.

The meeting was attended by Valentin Gonzalez Leon, Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP); Flavio Fuertes, Executive Director of the Argentine Network of the United Nations Global Compact; as well as Presidents, Directors, and Sustainability Managers of state-owned enterprises.

Alongside Casa de Moneda, other participating organizations included INVAP, Banco Nación, Banco Provincia, Nación Servicios, Correo Argentino, Nucleoeléctrica Argentina, Empresa Provincial de Energía de Córdoba, Trenes Argentinos, and more.

During the meeting, the sustainability teams of these companies shared their organizational development agendas, short-term challenges, as well as the primary development opportunities.

Casa de Moneda continues to work on an agenda that incorporates sustainability as a strategic management pillar, aiming to enhance the organization’s quality standards.
